The aim of SAVO's website is to provide Suffolk's voluntary and community sector with tools, resources and relevant information to help them operate successfully. Please visit regularly to find out what's new! 

 

 

The Suffolk Association of Voluntary Organisations (SAVO) is an infrastructure organisation within the voluntary and community sector of Suffolk. 

SAVO's mission is to support, inform, represent and develop voluntary and community action in Suffolk. 

We are a membership organisation, with membership open to all voluntary and community groups (associate membership is open to individuals and public sector agencies).

What SAVO can offer:

We've broken down our services into 4 key areas of work:
 
Develop: Improving the capacity and quality of voluntary organisations and community groups.

Support: To enable voluntary organisations and community groups to gain greater access to information, practical support, services and facilities.

Inform: To enable voluntary organisations and community groups to gain greater access to information.
 

Represent: To faciliate liasion and collaboration in the voluntary and community sector and between the voluntary, public and private sectors, and to identify and prioritise the needs of the voluntary and community sector in Suffolk and develop and faciliate appropriate responses.
